COMSATS Institute of Technology in Islamabad carried out a questionnaire survey to explore the use of the Internet and e-mail by practising clinicians in twelve hospitals in Pakistan. Access, views and practices of clinicians were investigated. While access to Internet and email was high, the use of Internet and email by clinicians for their work was not very high. And while many clinicians agreed that the Internet and email has potential value for their work, the likelihood of its use in health care delivery in Pakistan emerged to be low.Published
